Silver Springs Lake

The 2023 Kids Fishing Jamboree gathered quite a crowd this year.   Thirty-nine kids plus cheering family members lined the shores of lots 134-138 to try and catch either the biggest or most fish.  An abundance of shade trees and a fantastic breeze were perfect remedies to the warm weather.

A big congratulations to the jamboree winners. In the 1-7 age group Savana Lebakken of lot 94 caught the biggest fish, a beautiful 10 1/2 inch crappie.  Brianna Wolf of lot 116 caught the most fish, an amazing 71. In the 8-12 age group Maisie Justman of lot 81 caught the biggest fish, a 9 inch large mouth bass.  Jamison Larson of lot 110 caught the most fish, 34.
